Recall Madness
I think the recall is foolish. Although California's long ago embraced the initiative idea and my property taxes are still with in reason, the recall is going to far. Did you see the contractor with the cold sore throwing his hat into the ring? I heard 30 people from San Diego alone are tossing their hats in the ring as well. There could be 100 people on the ballot at a cost of 30 to 60 million.

It's rediculous, yes but it is kinda of fun in a way, like watching a train wreck.

But the latest news, that the Dems are deciding whether or not to run another candidate in case Davis is recalled reveals the real thinking behind the effort, get the Dems out of power and the GOP in the governors house so Bush can carry CA in 04. Doesn't matter who it is as long as they are from the Right party.
